A Kitchen Meets Mold

The odor and staining finally resulted in the call to SERVPRO to remediate the mold issue in this kitchen. The SERVPRO team removed, planning on replacing, the base cabinets and the water damaged flooring. With the wall cavity exposed, they dried and then sprayed antifungal agents to kill the remaining mold and spores. This protocol also helps reduce the chance of reinfestation. The owner requested a third party to verify the elimination of the mold infestation, and we then proceeded to restore this kitchen back to its preloss condition. "Like it never even happened."
