Frozen Plumbing

Ohio winters can be harsh. We take precautions when we hear of winter storms heading our way. The same should be true if you own a summer home that is closed up for the winter. It is imperative you winterize your home before leaving. Investing in security cameras and/or periodically checking on your home or having a neighbor check on it can also save you in the long run.

This customer came to check on his home only to find the furnace had not been working and the plumbing froze in their house. A broken pipe on the second floor caused extensive damage to the entire house. Thankfully they were able to catch it relatively quickly and contacted SERVPRO for help.
